UPDATE: Man Missing from Atlanta Found

UPDATE: Atlanta police said Wednesday evening that Jimmie Lynch “has been located and appears to be doing well at this time.”

ORIGINAL STORY: Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to locate an elderly man who disappeared on Wednesday.

Jimmie Lynch, 72, was last seen walking away from his home at 2423 Martin Luther King Jr Dr., police spokesman Ralph Woolfolk said. Lynch suffers from dementia and is new to that part of town, Woolfolk added.

Lynch is a black male who stands 6’1” tall and weighs 154 lbs. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with “Showers of Blessing” gray pajama pants and brown slippers.
