Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Midtown Hotel Bathroom

Atlanta police are looking for a man that they say put a gun to another man’s head and robbed him of over $100 inside a bathroom at a Midtown hotel late last month.

WSB-TV reports that the incident occurred on Oct. 23 at the Georgian Terrace Hotel at 659 Peachtree St. According to the victim, he had gone into the first floor men’s restroom to relieve himself when a heavyset man wearing all black put a gun to his head, robbed him of $120, and forced him into a bathroom stall.

Police are investigating the robbery and its possible connection to a robbery of another hotel on Peachtree Street which occurred earlier this week.

Surveillance cameras along Peachtree Street failed to capture any footage of the bathroom robbery suspect leaving the scene, police said.
