MARTA Altering Bus Schedule Wednesday

Rail service will continue to operate as normal until 1 a.m. or if conditions worsen.

MARTA has announced that it is altering its normal bus schedule due to the large amount of winter precipitation pummeling the Atlanta area.

According to the authority, buses will begin operating on their Sunday schedules starting at 6 p.m. If conditions get worse after 11 p.m., buses will only provide emergency transportation to hospitals, dialysis centers, and other medical facilities.

Rail service will continue to operate as usual, but riders must be in stations by 1 a.m. Additionally, paratransit services will end at 11 p.m.
