MARTA Seeks Input on Downtown Station

Project Team seeks public input to help guide improvements for Garnett MARTA Station near Midtown

The Downtown South MARTA Stations makeover project seeks public feedback to help guide ideas and implementation strategies that will improve the appearance and experience at Garnett MARTA station.

MARTA riders that use Garnett station are asked to participate in onsite interactive surveys that will be used to help shape the enhancement plan. Directional signage leading users to survey locations will be placed throughout the stations. The interactive survey will take place on the following date:

Tuesday, October 28, 2014
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Additionally, the project team will be collecting feedback at Georgia State University (GSU) on Tuesday, October 28th, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the GSU Library Plaza and along Broad Street, between Luckie and Walton streets.

Individuals that do not ride MARTA or are unable to attend the aforementioned surveys are asked to provide their opinion by completing an online survey atwww.atlantadowntown.com/MARTAmakeover.

The public can also tag station-specific photos that highlight potential issues to be addressed, provide their thoughts on potential improvements or join the conversation on social media using #MARTAmakeover.
