Massive Mural Unveiled at Crowne Plaza Midtown

Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown, currently undergoing a renovation and dual-branded transformation with Staybridge Suites Atlanta, has unveiled “Urban Reflection,” a large mural located in the lobby.

An acrylic on canvas measuring 20 feet wide by 10 feet tall, Atlanta artist Corey Barksdale’s mural greets guests as they enter the lobby of the hotel. Inspired by the vibrant music scene, contemporary architecture and diversity of Atlanta, “Urban Reflection” features gestural paint strokes and interweaving lines to create movement. A bold and vivid color palette is meant to uplift viewers, inviting them on a pleasant journey left up to interpretation.
