Public Relations award

ATLANTA – August 11, 2016 – Matthew Johnson is the recipient of the August 2016 Chapter Champion Award from the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) (prsageorgia.org). This award recognizes his dedicated volunteer work for the Georgia chapter.

Johnson has served as a member of the Chapter’s Membership Committee for the past three years and has just been named a co-chair. He has coordinated greeters for all of the Chapter’s monthly meetings, Annual Conference and Real World Collegiate Conference. Additionally, Johnson has assisted with reaching out to chapter members to encourage them to renew their memberships. He will also be hosting a PRSA In Your Neighborhood Event later this month.

“I decided to become involved with the Georgia Chapter because of the ability to connect and network with peers in the community and gain valuable information on the ever changing landscape of public relations,” said Johnson.
