UPDATE: Missing Atlanta Man Found Safe

The 76-year-old had last been seen Sunday morning.

UPDATE (4:45 p.m.): Atlanta police report that 76-year-old Joseph Snyder has been found safe and in good health.

ORIGINAL STORY (2:18 p.m.): Atlanta police have issued a Mattie’s Call for a man who was last seen leaving a mission on Sunday morning.

Joseph Snyder, 76, was taken to the Atlanta Union Mission from the DeKalb Medical Center on Valentine’s Day, but left the mission the next morning and disappeared. He is described as a black male standing 5’11” tall, weighing 180 lbs., with black and gray hair and brown eyes.

Snyder suffers from dementia, schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder, police said.
