Meet our LifeLine Animal Project Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Pumpkin and Fiona

Our first Pet of the Week is ready for Halloween! Meet Pumpkin, one of the cutest little Jack-o-lanterns you’ll ever meet! Pumpkin weighs 39 lbs., and has small legs, but she sure knows how to use those legs to run! One of her favorite activities is participating in the shelter’s Run Club, where volunteers take her out of the shelter and outside to runs. The volunteers say Pumpkin is “lovable, polite on a leash, good in the car and a great companion!”

Pumpkin came to us after her owners moved, leaving her without food, water or shelter. However, you’d never know that she was abandoned, because she is such a happy little lady! Pumpkin loves going on water adventures and playing with toys, especially tennis balls! And if you adopt her during our October “Fall in Love” promotion, Pumpkin may be adopted for FREE!

If you’re looking for a gentle and calm girl who loves people and other dogs, then our next Pet of the Week may be your dream girl. Meet Fiona, a sweet girl who is living in a foster home with two other dogs. Fiona’s foster parents say she adapts easily to new situations and made quick friends with their own two dogs. Fiona does well on leash walks and has learned some basic obedience commands too. She gets excited when her foster parents come home from work and does cute twirly jumps to celebrate. Fiona likes being pet on the head and adores cuddling with people. She is also potty trained and FREE to adopt during October!
