Midtown Atlanta Chef Appearing On Food Network This Weekend

Chef Deborah VanTrece of Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours will appear Sunday night on The Food Network's UIltimate Thanksgiving Challenge.

ATLANTA, GA -- Chef Deborah VanTrece of Atlanta's Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours will appear Sunday night on the Food Network. Airing at 9 p.m. on November 3, Food Network's Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge is a three-episode competition show that puts chefs head-to-head to create Thanksgiving classics with a unique twist. VanTrece, along with four other chefs from around the country, will compete for the ultimate prize of $25,000.

VanTrece has been featured as one of Zagat’s Most Badass Female Chefs in the U.S. alongside spotlights in Creative Loafing, NBC News, Eater and on Cherry Bombe Radio and NPR’s WABE. VanTrece was awarded the Atlanta Business League's 2017 Super Tuesday Conference Award for Creative Style while her recipes have been showcased at the James Beard House and in the American Cuisine Cook Book.

With a new location on the west side of Atlanta, VanTrece’s southern based cuisine is peppered with soul food and inspiration from her world travels. Working alongside local farmers to craft a seasonal menu for brunch, lunch and dinner service, Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours offers items such as pan roasted halibut, coconut ginger moonshine broth, ramen noodles,vegetables and a fried egg; red hot candy coated chicken wings; moonshine pound cake with lavender whipped cream and a buttermilk splash, and VanTrece’s award winning southern fried chicken.
