The dog was a 5-month-old brown lab named Lady, Channel 2 reported. After she was shot, Lady took a few steps before collapsing and dying. The dog's owner said her stepson and some other small children were playing with Lady in front of her home when the suspect walked up, grabbed Lady by her collar, took her across the street and shot her.
