Midtown's Pershing Park Gets a New Owner
Franklin Street Properties is buying the building for about $46 million.

ATLANTA, GA — Midtown's Pershing Park Plaza has a new owner.
Franklin Street Properties has reached an agreement to buy the building for almost $46 million, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Franklin Street is buying Pershing Park from ELV Associates, which bought the building, at 1420 Peachtree Street, for $33.5 million. Midtown has now overtaken Buckhead as the most expensive intown neighborhood to rent office space.
Franklin Street is paying about $284 a foot for Pershing Park. The final deal is expected to close this month.
