Missing Morehouse Grad Last Seen Near Midtown: Deputies
Gerald LeVert "Vert" Dunn was last seen at the DoubleTree hotel in downtown Atlanta, Paulding County officials say.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and two agencies in Atlanta are searching for a missing local man who was last seen June 4.
Gerald LeVert “Vert” Dunn, 24, was reported missing June 8 by his aunt, with whom he resides. He was last seen leaving the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Atlanta on the 4th.

The sheriff’s office said detectives have issued a statewide lookout for Dunn and are concerned for his safety.
Dunn is described as:
- Black male
- 24 years old
- 6 feet tall
- 170 pounds
- Short hair cut
- Basketball Tattoo on upper arm
- Unknown Clothing description
Atlanta Police and Morehouse University Police are assisting in the search. Dunn is a recent Morehouse graduate.
“Dunn does not have a vehicle and has been known to use Uber as a means of transportation throughout the City of Atlanta,” Paulding County Sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson said in news release Friday afternoon. “At this point, detectives have exhausted all investigative measures in this case and are asking for the public’s assistance.”
