Atlanta ranked at number nine after real estate brokerage company Redfin analyzed four key components in order to determine which cities make the top 10 list.
Tales about vampires say that they do not go into sunlight, so Redfin found the cities with the highest average number of cloudy days each year. Since vampires sleep in coffins, it was researched how many homes were for sale by cemeteries in each area last year.

Finally, vampires drink a lot of human blood. So the real estate company found out how late bars and clubs serve alcohol as well as how many blood drives were happening within the next month in the cities.

“A lot of people in Atlanta have an interest in the paranormal, and there are many historical homes and places that are reportedly haunted,” said Adam Kappel, a local Redfin real estate agent. “Those spooky-looking places might be why so many scary movies and TV shows are filmed here, like ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Vampire Diaries.’”
