Nearby: Emory Students Test Positive for Norovirus
More than one hundred students have been treated for the highly-contagious virus since last week, but the number of new cases is declining.

The Emory Medical Lab and the Georgia Public Health Laboratory have discovered that dozens of Emory University students who have fallen ill in the last five days were stricken with Norovirus.
According to WSB-TV, official confirmation was received on Friday, just two days after scores of Emory students began suffering gastrointestinal problems. As of Thursday, 74 students had been treated for the illness. By Monday, that total had increased to 101.
Fortunately, the number of new cases has slowed significantly over the weekend, and no Emory students are currently hospitalized due to Norovirus.
