Protesters Gather Outside State Capitol: News Nearby
Lawmakers have eased off on a bill which would criminalize abortions after 20 weeks.

Pro-life advocates have gathered outside the Georgia state capitol to encourage lawmakers to support a bill which would make many abortions illegal in Georgia, WSB-TV reports.
Hundreds of protesters assembled outside the capitol on Thursday, displeased that Republicans have let up on supporting a bill which would criminalize abortions after 20 weeks in favor of legislation which would simply ban taxpayer-funded abortions.
The protesters will likely remain for the rest of the afternoon, according to WSB-TV.
