New Apartment Tower Planned for Midtown

A developer has submitted requests for building permits to the City of Atlanta to begin construction on a large apartment tower on a 1.5 acre site in Midtown, What Now Atlanta reports.

Novare Group’s 1163 West Peachtree Street project is a 31-story apartment tower which will feature 10,000 sq. ft. of retail on the ground floor and 40 units in the remaining stories. Proposed amenities include a swimming pool yoga room, and tennis court. Total cost for the project is estimated at $1.85 million.

Einstein Bros. Bagels has announced they will relocate their free-standing restaurant at the site to the new building’s retail space once construction is finished.

Atlanta Skyrise Blog reports that design firm Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart is responsible for the look of the new apartment tower.
