No Charges Against Atlanta Police Officers, 911 Dispatcher in Shooting
In April 2015, Alexia Christian fired three shots at officers from the backset of a police crusier.

Atlanta, GA -- Fulton County DA Paul L. Howard is not seeking charges against two Atlanta police officers in the deadly shooting of a suspect in April 2015.
On April 30, 2015, a white Ford F-150 truck was stolen from a hotel near Fulton Industrial Boulevard by Alexia Christian. The driver of the truck told a Fulton County 911 operator that his .380 Taurus handgun was in the stolen vehicle. But that information was not communicated to Atlanta police by the 911 operator.
Two Atlanta police officers responded to the call to recover the truck, which had been tracked to 111 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Christian was arrested, but the officers had no idea that the gun was stored in the vehicle. Christian wasn't frisked or searched for any weapon before being placed in the vehicle.

Christian slipped her left wrist from the handcuff, removed the gun from her person, and fired three shots at the officers from the patrol vehicle's back seat.
The officers quickly exited the vehicle and ordered Christian to drop the gun, who raised the weapon and aimed it at police. Both officers then fired five shots each. Christian was killed during the shooting.
