Part of Cheshire Bridge to be Closed Thursday Night
Water service will also be impacted tonight, and the city of Atlanta is advising residents to store water for drinking and other uses.
A water main is being repaired Thursday night along a portion of Cheshire Bridge Road.
Atlanta watershed crews are advising that one lane between Cheshire Bridge between Manchester Street and Wellbourne Drive will be closed from 11 pm through 6 am Friday morning.
Water service will be also temporarily interrupted during this time. Residents are advised to store away a supply of water for drinking and other purposes overnight. Once water service has been restored, residents are advised to allow faucets to run for several minutes.
