Patch Photo Contest: See Some Of Our Favorites
We asked you to share some of your favorite photographs of Georgia and you gave us some beautiful shots. And one entrant gets a prize.

ATLANTA, GA — We asked you to show us your photos of Georgia in all of its beauty. And, Patch readers, you blew us away.
From urban skylines to nature's glory, your photos really showed off the best of the state we call home.
There were so many great entries we broke down and shared some of your photos with other readers before the submission period was even over. And once we're done processing all of the submissions, we might have to do another post to share more.

But for now, take a look at Georgia through the eyes of your fellow Patch readers. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did and thank you again to everyone who submitted.
Also, congratulations to Jacob Flynn. In addition to having his great photo shared in this post, he was selected from the contest entrants to get a $50 gift card, which we'll be shooting his way soon.

Amanda Gramling, of Canton, took this amazing shot of Lovers Leap at Rock City in the fall of 2017.

Our contest drawing winner, Jacob Flynn, got this lovely shot at Tallulah Gorge State Park on March 17, 2018. That's the visitors center in the distance. "Tallulah Gorge is such a gem in the state and one of my favorite vistas that Georgia has to offer," Flynn wrote.

Jared Kofsky gave us lots of great shots, and the two shared above show their diversity. In the first, we see a nighttime skyline shot taken on May 21 from the Sun Dial restaurant in downtown Atlanta. The second is the reflection pool at Piedmont Park, taken on May 23.

Who doesn't love a photo of a rainbow? This one, by Julie Ann Piwaron, was taken at the riverwalk at Azalea Park in Roswell on May 26.

And who can forget when we got blanketed with snow this winter? Karen Kreager, of Johns Creek, documented the event in this photo taken in Ellijay on Dec. 9, 2017.
