Patient With Measles Brought to Atlanta
This is the first time anyone in Georgia has had measles since 2012.

Doctors at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston are treating an infant who contracted the potentially deadly measles virus, WSB-TV says.
The infant was flown to Atlanta from overseas, according to the station. Health officials are now working backwards to find anyone who may have been exposed to the infant and the virus.
Measles can be prevented through vaccination, but infants below six months old cannot be immunized. Health officials report that 98 percent of all Georgia children entering kindergarten are up to date on their shots, WSB-TV reports.
