Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Downtown Connector
The victim was walking on I-75 south near Midtown's 17th Street bridge when he was struck by a vehicle.
Atlanta, GA -- A man was struck and killed by a minivan late Thursday night as he was attempting to cross I-75 south near the 17th Street bridge on foot.
The fatality happened shortly before midnight. Police told CBS46 that the driver apparently didn't see the man trying to cross the highway.
Police also say no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
