Piedmont Park Now Less Fishy

There was something fishy going on at . 

For several days, fish have been dying off in Lake Clara Meer, reports Channel 2. The dead fish caused an unpleasant odor to radiate through the air, park goers complained to the television news station. 

An algae bloom in the lake could be to blame for the dead fish, the AJC reports. The algae, which bloomed after a drop in temperatures last week, deprives some fish of oxygen.  

Workers finished clearing dead fish from the lake on Tuesday, the newspaper reports.
