Police: Fight Over Red Bull Leads to Shooting
A local man is charged after getting wounded in the hand.

A local man is facing charges after getting shot in the hand during an argument Wednesday night over a Red Bull energy drink, according to the Atlanta police.
Elijah Payton (date of birth: 1970) sustained a gunshot wound to his left middle finger, the City of Atlanta Police Department said on its Facebook page. He was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police responded to the report of a person shot at 77 Peachtree Place, where they found Payton. An investigation revealed that Payton and another man had gotten into a verbal dispute over a Red Bull, “and the altercation turned physical,” the police said.
