Police: Midtown Pedestrians Attacked at Random

Midtown pedestrians and law enforcement patrols are on heightened alert after a rash of seemingly random attacks perpetrated by a lone suspect.

According to WSB-TV, the man walks up to people, punches them, then continues walking. Security group Midtown Blue says they know of at least four such attacks, and have identified a man they say may be behind them.

Atlanta police told WSB-TV that the attacks are different than “knockout” videos which were filmed last year, because the attacker is not being filmed or followed by a group of people.

Anyone who has encountered this person in recent days is asked to contact police.
