Police Searching For Hapeville Rape Suspect

Hapeville police are asking for the public’s help to catch a man they suspect of raping a woman at a motel in late August.

According to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta, police say the man raped a local woman at a motel in Hapeville on Aug. 20. WSB-TV reports that authorities claim the man held a weapon to the victim’s head and demanded sex acts. He also took the victim’s ID and threatened that he would appear at her home.

WSB-TV reports that the suspect has dreadlocks, light brown eyes, and sleeve tattoos on both arms. His right forearm is tattooed with the words “us or them” in red letters.
