Pools In The Midtown Area: Time To Jump In And Cool Off
With the Georgia heat coming in fast, cooling down is easy when you're in a pool. See below for pools in the area and their hours and fees.
MIDTOWN, GA -- This summer is going to be a hot one, and jumping into a pool is one of the best ways to cool off. Check out below for some pools in the area, what their hours are, and what they charge.
Chastain Park Pool: 235 W Wieuca Rd NW, Atlanta, GA
The Chastain Park Pool will be open starting May 20. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is free public swim time. At 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., paid public swim time begins (One dollar for kids 5 and under, two dollars for kids six to 16, four dollars for adults aged 17-64, and two dollars for seniors, age 65 and up). From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and to 9:00 p.m. on Fridays, the pool is open for Chastain Pool members only.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., is paid public swim time (One dollar for kids 5 and under, two dollars for kids six to 16, four dollars for adults aged 17-64, and two dollars for seniors, age 65 and up). As with weekdays, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is swim time for Chastain Pool members only.
Members can bring guests for members-only time for a fee of five dollars.

Garden Hills Pool: 335 Pine Tree Dr NE, Atlanta, GA
The Garden Hills Pool is open for business from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The the daily admission price is four dollars for adults and two dollars for swimmers under 13 years old, and for swimmers 65 and older.
Kittredge Pool: 2545 N Druid Hills Rd NE, Atlanta, GA
The Kittredge Pool does not have hours listed online.
Lake Claire Pool: 1900 DeKalb Ave NE, Atlanta, GA
The Lake Claire Pool just opened on Saturday for the summer and is open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. However, the pool charges a one-time $3,500 membership fee along with annual dues of $350 for an individual or $525 for a family.
Grant Park Pool: 625 Park Ave SE, Atlanta, GA
Grant Park Pool opens on May 24 this year. Free swimming is open on Monday to Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All members can swim from Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Also, paying adults can do early morning lap swimming on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
