Pregnant Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Midtown

A woman who is six months pregnant is lucky to still be alive after she says armed robbers put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her unless she gave them everything she had.

According to WSB-TV, the incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on Feb. 20 on Penn Avenue. The woman was walking to her car, which had been parked further away than usual due to the nearby parking lots being filled with traffic from adjacent businesses. Two men approached her and put a gun to her head while demanding her purse.

The woman let the robbers take her purse, but now she says she would like to see parts of Penn Avenue be designated residential parking only, to prevent residents from having to walk great distances at night to get to their vehicles.
