PRSA GEORGIA CHAPTER HOSTS SEMINAR AND LUNCHEON TO ADDRESS HOW ORGANIZATIONS CAN ENERGIZE PR STRATEGIES AND DEMONSTRATE ROI

ATLANTA – The Public Relations Society of America Georgia Chapter (prsageorgia.org) will host two events on Thursday, June 9 that address how organizations can energize their PR and grass roots strategies, along with demonstrating the ROI of communications plans. During a special luncheon, Joe Cohen, APR, Senior Vice President of Communications at KIND Healthy Snacks, will share how grassroots communications approaches can drive brand awareness and business growth. During a morning seminar presentation, Angela Sinickas, CEO, Sinickas Communications, Inc. will provide advice on how to plan and execute communications programs that create behavior change.
There is limited seating for both sessions. Both events will take place at Maggiano’s Buckhead.

In an ever-evolving media environment fueled by the latest digital and social media platforms, companies are looking for new ways to reach their target audiences. Joe Cohen, APR, Senior Vice President of Communications at KIND Healthy Snacks, will share how new grassroots communications approaches can drive brand awareness and business growth. Cohen will also share how the KIND business philosophy and philanthropic approach have influenced the overall communications strategy and helped lead the brand into the future.
Following a brief presentation, Mickey Nall, APR, Fellow PRSA, 2013 National PRSA Chair & CEO, will moderate a discussion with Cohen and give attendees the chance to ask questions about grassroots marketing, influencer strategies, philanthropic communications, and more.

Pre-Luncheon Seminar: Show Me the Money - How to Demonstrate the ROI of Communications Strategies
Measuring the effectiveness of a communications program isn’t enough anymore. Today, leadership wants to see a more direct correlation between communications budget spend and business outcomes that increase revenue or reduce expenses.
Using internal and external communications examples from real organizations, Angela Sinickas, CEO, Sinickas Communications, Inc. will provide advice on how to plan and execute communications programs that create behavior change.
Check in begins at 9:15 a.m. with the seminar beginning at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 11 a.m.

PRSA Georgia (prsageorgia.org), the second-largest local chapter in the national society, consists of more than 900 professionals throughout Georgia.
