Straight Talk from the Top – 10 Lessons for All Communicators

If you could get straight talk from your supervisor about PR, would you ask them things like:

Find out what's happening in Midtownfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

• What were you really thinking when I pitched that latest communications initiative?

• What is keeping you up at night, and what’s my role as your PR counsel in preventing that?

• Is the bottom line profit the only thing our CEO really thinks about?

• Do you understand that PR plans are about changing behavior, not just churning out material?

Alicia Phillip and Elyse Hammett will address these questions and share 10 key lessons Phillip has learned over 39 years as a CEO, including knowing the business ROI, taking on an annual business challenge and seeking out people smarter than you. Whether you work for a nonprofit on a shoestring budget or a multi-million dollar publicly traded corporation, the 10 lessons driving this billion-dollar organization are priceless for all communicators.

Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the program from noon to 1 p.m.
