Puppies Found in Suitcase in Atlanta Dumpster

None of the seven puppies survived the ordeal, animal shelter workers say.

Fulton County Animal Services is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the person who stuffed seven puppies inside a suitcase stuffed in a dumpster and left them to die.

A woman walking by an apartment complex in southeast Atlanta discovered the suitcase and immediately contacted the apartment manager, who summoned animal control. One of the puppies survived initially, but later died at the animal shelter.

Fulton County Animal Services Director Laura Hudson told WSB-TV that the incident was disturbing and urged anyone with information on who left the puppies in the suitcase to come forward.
