Final GOP Debate Held Before Georgia Primary

Donald Trump got more air time during Thursday night's CNN debate than any of his competitors.

With Georgia and seven other states set to hold their presidential primaries next Tuesday, five Republican presidential candidates met for a boisterous debate on Thursday night in Houston.

Businessman Donald Trump, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz went after each other aggressively on immigration and Obamacare during a two-plus-hour debate co-hosted by CNN and Telemundo.

Polls show Trump with a solid lead in next Tuesday’s Georgia contest:


U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz will be in Atlanta on Saturday, while U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio makes a campaign stop in Kennesaw.

Georgia, along with Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, will hold their presidential primaries on March 1. Voters can check their early voting or Election Day voting location as well as view their sample ballot on the Secretary of State’s MVP website:http://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP.
