SCAD presents SCADstyle 2016
Design leaders to visit Atlanta campus for presentations, panel discussions

Join SCAD for its annual global celebration of the best in design including fashion, interior design, illustration and more. Beginning Monday, April 11, through Thursday, April 14, style leaders from around the world will describe the artistry, energy and inspiration that drives their creativity during lectures, intimate conversations and workshops.
Guest highlights this year, including, Calvin Klein, Fern Mallis and Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor (founders of Juicy Couture), to name a few, create a platform for students to connect and learn from highly relevant, industry personalities, who continue to navigate challenges and respectfully excel within the true business of design. SCAD students will have the opportunity to directly interact with esteemed SCADstyle guests, shaping their creative careers towards professional success.

Monse + Fern Mallis
Monday, April 11
7 p.m. at SCADshow
Monse designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, the duo that spun off from Oscar de la Renta to strike out on their own, chat with SCADstyle 2016 honorary chair Fern Mallis. Afterwards, Mallis will be signing her latest book, “Fashion Lives: Fashion Icons with Fern Mallis.”

"On Invention: Four Lessons" by Paula Wallace

Acclaimed interior designer Charlotte Moss discusses her iconic career, unique aesthetic and personal style. Moss will be signing her latest book, “Garden Inspiration” after she speaks.
SoulCycle + Outdoor Voices + Eric Wilson
Thursday, April 14
7 p.m. at SCADshow
InStyle Fashion News Director Eric Wilson moderates this discussion with SoulCycle founders Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice and Outdoor Voices founder Tyler Haney on performance apparel, unorthodox branding and the reinvention of a paradigm.
