UPDATE: Significant Weather Advisory Issued for Midtown, Flooding Report
Reports of dime-sized hail have been sent in from East Cobb and Smyrna from a storm that is heading east through Atlanta.

The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory for Midtown.
According to the NWS, the advisory indicates the possibility of 35 mph winds and pea-sized hail. Dime-sized hail from this storm was reported in East Cobb and Smyrna, according to WSB-TV.
The advisory will expire at 6:15 p.m., as the storm is traveling east out from a line between North Decatur and Chattahoochee Hill Country at a speed of 30 mph.

Heavy rains caused by the storm have caused flooding in West Midtown; WSB-TV reports that Northside Drive at 14th Street has flooded.
