Chef Linda Harrell of Cibo e Beve will help to demo great Italian zuppas (soups) outside of the traditional minestrone. As we head into fall, learn to make some authentic varieties that will be as satisfying on a chilly night with family as they are impressive for guests. During class Chef Harrell will show students how to make Tuscan Kale and Bean Soup; Pappa al Pomodoro (a tomato bread soup); and Smoked Sweet Potato Soup with crispy Prosciutto. She will also bring along handmade Cannoli for something sweet. Evening includes wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock’s Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Cabot Cheese. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
