Sketch of Freedom Trail Attack Suspect Released
The man is suspected of attacking Emory University student Pearl Ryder on Aug. 13. Ryder managed to scare the man away by yelling loudly.

The Atlanta Police Department has released a sketch of a person they suspect attacked a young woman who was jogging on the Freedom Trail last week.
On Aug. 13 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Emory University student Pearl Ryder approached the intersection of North and Euclid avenues when she head rustling leaves and saw a man chasing after her. She turned to face the man, assumed a defensive position, and yelled at him. The would-be attacker fled the scene.
Ryder described the suspect as a man in his 50’s, with a clean-shaven face and ash blond hair. He was also wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans.
