Social Media App Helps Atlanta's Homeless
Every picture posted on "Luv4Ward" causes a homeless person in Atlanta to receive a gift of socks, a blanket, or a coat.

A new social media app is designed to not only allow people to share their photos with friends and family, but to share warmth with Atlanta’s homeless community.
Davis Smith and his mother Bridgette have created “Luv4Ward,” an app which donates warm clothing to the homeless when someone posts a photo. Atlanta’s Flip Burger Boutique volunteered to sponsor the app and provide the clothing when photos are uploaded, FOX 5 Atlanta says.
The Smiths are hoping to generate 7,000 photos and 7,000 “gifts of warmth” to Atlanta’s homeless by the middle of January. They also hope the idea catches on and is used for additional charitable causes nationwide.
