Spring into Adoption at LifeLine Animal Project's Fulton County Shelter, and Meet Our Pets of the Week

All pets 25 lbs. and over may be adopted at no charge, including their spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines!

Springtime in Atlanta brings sunshine, Dogwood blooms and, sadly, skyrocketing intake levels at LifeLine’s Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) and DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS) due to the high number of animals being born.

To encourage the public to adopt, LifeLine Animal Project is offering fee-waived adoptions on all pets 25 lbs. and up. Through the “Spring into Adoption” promotion, you may adopt any pet weighing 25 lbs. or more for FREE at FCAS, DCAS or the LifeLine Animal Project shelter! Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.

LifeLine’s Fulton County Pets of the Week: Lash and Jimmy

Who can you adopt for NO CHARGE at FCAS? How about a completely precious and very playful and loving little boy named Lash. With his long black body and little short legs, Lash couldn’t be any cute if he tried! He is only one year old, weighs 40 lbs. and is sweet and loving. Lash is great with other dogs and loves people. Come meet Lash, and be prepared for your heart to melt!

Another handsome boy available for NO CHARGE is Jimmy. This 47 lb., two-year-old guy is a stocky little lover who is very friendly and good with other dogs. Jimmy is also smart, knows how to sit and is eager to learn more tricks. He loves to play with toys, enjoys belly rubs and has baby soft fur. Come in and see why Jimmy is loved by all.

To meet Lash or Jimmy, drop by the shelter, email adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or call 404-613-0357. To view dogs or cats available for adoption, please visit the shelter at 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30318 or go to www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
