Superfast Internet Delivered to Ponce City Market

Comcast Business has launched its 10-Gigabit Internet speeds at the historic Midtown landmark.

ATLANTA, GA -- Comcast Business today announced it is offering up to 10-gigabit network speeds to tenants of Ponce City Market in Midtown, and has signed up six businesses for its service.

“Ponce City Market has established itself as a premier shopping, dining and business destination for Atlanta residents,” said Doug Guthrie, Comcast senior vice president. “With our investment, businesses there can now enjoy Internet speeds 10 times faster than anything else in the market, and enough capacity to support the most advanced technologies today and into the future.”

Ponce City Market is a mixed-use development with national and local retail anchors, restaurants, offices and residential units. It also serves numerous nearby neighborhoods, including Virginia Highlands, Inman Park and Druid Hills.

Comcast Business provides 10-gigabit internet speeds throughout Atlanta, and completed a major network expansion in December 2014. Most recently, Comcast announced it would bring 10-gigabit speeds to businesses in Stockbridge and in Alpharetta, along the Georgia 400 Business Corridor.

Comcast Business serves hundreds of local schools, businesses, hospitals, and other organizations that require large amounts of bandwidth, including Grady Memorial Hospital, Jim Ellis Automotive, the Atlanta Hawks, the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department, and Piedmont Urgent Care by WellStreet.
