UPDATE: Suspicious Package Closed Portion of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
WSB-TV reports authorities have re-opened the closed portion of the international terminal.

UPDATE (5:00 p.m.): WSB-TV reports that the suspicious package that caused a temporary shutdown of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s international terminal Monday afternoon was a pressure cooker abandoned by a student who realized it could not be taken through airport security.
ORIGINAL STORY (3:45 p.m.): A portion of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport was shut down following a report of a suspicious package on the premises, WSB-TV reports.
According to the station, police responded to a portion of the international terminal, and have recovered the suspicious package. An airport spokesperson told the station that passengers are not able to check in for their flights at the present time.

Authorities cleared the airport just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, WSB-TV reported on Twitter.
