'Top Chef' to Open Restaurant at Tech Square

A famous Atlanta chef is returning to the kitchen. 

Richard Blais -- recent winner of Bravo's "Top Chef All-Stars" and the man behind the chain of Flip Burger Boutiques -- will open a restaurant at Tech Square in Midtown, says John Kessler with the AJC.

The yet-named restaurant will serve American cuisine on 5th Street in the space that once housed the Globe and WaterHaven restaurants. 

Blais will partner with Concentrics Restaurants to open the restaurants, Kessler says. The group is behind restaurants including two Midtown favorites: One Midtown Kitchen and Tap.
