TV Show Production Will Close Lanes, Sidewalks in Midtown Between Wednesday and Friday

Portions of Myrtle and 8th streets will be closed by production work.

Production crews will take over a portion of Midtown later this week as they film scenes for a television show.

According to the Midtown Neighbors’ Association, Bonanza Productions will be filming in the vicinity of Myrtle and 8th streets on Thursday, Oct. 16. The City of Atlanta has scheduled closures in the area from 7 a.m. on Wednesday to 8 p.m. on Friday to allow crews to set up, work, and take down their production in safety.

The southbound (left) lane, west side curb lane, and west sidewalk of Myrtle Street between 8th and 10th streets will be shuttered by the production. Additionally, the westbound (right) lane, north side curb lane, and north sidewalk of 8th Street will be closed between Myrtle Street and Piedmont Avenue.
