Twitter Expanding Atlanta Footprint: Report
Over 50 new jobs will be created by the company's move to a larger office space, the Atlanta Business Chronicle says.
Social networking giant Twitter will expand its footprint in the Atlanta area with the acquisition of new office space in a prominent Midtown are development.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Twitter will soon occupy 8,000 sq. ft. of space at Ponce City Market, the former Sears Department Store which now serves as an office for companies such as HowStuffWorks and MailChimp.
Twitter currently employs 15 sales and marketing experts in Atlanta; with the move to Ponce City Market, the company plans to boost its Atlanta workforce up to 70 people, the Chronicle says.

Apart from expanded manpower, Twitter is also packing a bigger technological punch in Atlanta with the leasing of 180,00 sq. ft. of space inside a data farm, according to the Chronicle.
