UGA Crash Survivor Transferred to Shepherd Center
All four of Agnes Kim's passengers were killed in a terrible car crash that devastated many Atlanta and UGA communities.

ATLANTA, GA -- Agnes Kim, who was driving the car that was involved in a terrible crash late last month that killed the other passengers, has been transferred to Shepherd Center in Midtown.
The victims, all of them women, were in a Toyota Camry that struck another vehicle on Highway 15, a two-lane, just outside of Watkinsville.
Kayla Canedo, 19, of Alpharetta, Brittany Feldman, 20, of Alpharetta, Christina Semeria, 19, of Milton and Halle Scott, 19, of Dunwoody, all died. Kim, 21, of Snellville, survived the crash but was in critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle, Abby Short, 27, of Demorest, also was hospitalized.
Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that Kim is being treated in a unit which cares for patients who are semi-comatose or barely conscious. Doctors are also training her family for long-term care issues.

Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and the fourth died after being taken to Athens Regional Medical Center.
Police said Kim's Camry traveled into the oncoming lane and was hit in the side by Short's Chevrolet Cobalt. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
