U.S. Trust Names Jonathan Parris SVP, Private Client Advisor
Financial services veteran promoted in Atlanta office

U.S. Trust announced today that Jonathan Parris has been promoted to senior vice president, private client advisor, in the firm’s Atlanta office.
Parris, a 20-year financial services veteran, joined Bank of America in 2004. In his new position, he will be responsible for providing guidance for clients’ overall wealth management strategy. Prior to his current role, Parris served as a private client manager.
U.S. Trust provides customized services to high-net-worth clients concerned with preserving, growing and transferring their wealth. Those capabilities include investment management, financial and succession planning, philanthropic and specialty asset management, family office services, credit solutions, financial administration and family trust stewardship.

In addition to his role at U.S. Trust, Parris serves as an advisory board member for The Posse Foundation, a non-profit organization that identifies high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. The Foundation provides students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence via a four year scholarship to a top college or university.
Parris graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Accounting and received an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Additionally, he holds a Certified Financial Planner designation and the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
