Woman Assaulted at Emory Hospital's Midtown Location

A woman was sexually assaulted at Emory University Hospital Midtown this past Thursday night, and told Channel 2 Action News that she has quit her job at a cleaning service for the hospital.

The victim says she was working an evening shift and around 8:30 pm, a man walked her up to the 8th floor, put something over face and covered her mouth before assaulting her.

Channel 2 also said the hospital told the station that a person of interest had been identified and taken into custody on “separate charges.”
