WonderRoot's Generally Local, Mostly Independent Film Series

WonderRoot, Atlanta’s premier nonprofit arts and service organization, will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its annual film series on Friday, December 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. An independent film series traditionally held at Plaza Theatre, the “Best Of” fifth anniversary screening will be at the High Museum’s prestigious Hill Auditorium featuring the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Film & Entertainment as guest juror. Screening over 100 short films to date, WonderRoot’s Generally Local, Mostly Independent Film Series kicked off the Atlanta Film Festival the past two years, the newly-branded Atlanta Film Society’s flagship event.
