UPDATE: Workers Trapped in Midtown Manhole Freed
Atlanta Fire Rescue has responded to the scene.

Atlanta firefighters are in Midtown have rescued two workers who were knocked unconscious after they fell down a manhole.
The first worker was pulled from the manhole at around 4:35 p.m. Thursday and taken to the hospital. News cameras recorded the scene as the man was transported on a gurney away from the manhole. The second worker was pulled from the hole at approximately 4:45 p.m.
According to Atlanta Fire Rescue, the incident occurred at the Georgia Tech Golf Course, located at 450 16th St. They report that the hole the workers fell down is approximately 14 feet deep.
