Yoga, Farmer’s Market Coming to Colony Square
Signature Events at Colony Square will begin on April 2 and run through September 26.

From The Wilbert Group: Open-air yoga classes near the colorful MIDTOWN letters. Pop-up farmer’s markets featuring locally grown, organic produce. Rooftop jazz concerts atop Colony Square’s helipad. Beginning the first week of April, Midtown Atlanta’s Colony Square will host free weekly community experiences, known as Signature Events, through the end of September.
“We are excited to enrich this year’s Signature Events with the inaugural ‘Farmer’s Market on the Square’ and an elevated ‘Jazz in the Sky’ experience,” said Sara Carville, marketing coordinator for Colony Square. “And of course, we look forward to bringing back everyone’s favorite wellness event, ‘Yoga on the Square’, taught by some of Atlanta’s most talented instructors. These vibrant events come as part of the reimagined Colony Square experience, as we continue to transform this iconic property into Midtown’s Living Room.”

- Farmer’s Market on The Square, every Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting April 2 through Sept. 24 – New to Colony Square’s Signature Events lineup, Farmer’s Market on The Square will feature Atlanta’s top local farmers and artisans offering organic fruits and veggies, homemade preserves, treats and more. Stop by The Plaza each Monday to grab a freshly prepared lunch or check a few items off your grocery list.
- For the launch of this event, Colony Square will host a live acoustic guitar performance by Lance Price on Monday, April 2.
- Yoga on The Square, every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. starting April 4 through Sept. 26 – Midtown’s favorite outdoor wellness experience, Yoga on The Square, is back for the third season featuring the best instructors from local yoga studios, including exhale Spa (Midtown Atlanta), CorePower Yoga and Dancing Dogs Yoga Atlanta. Also returning for devoted yogis is the Loyalty Program which will provide yogaletes an opportunity to win free yoga-themed swag for every four classes attended, as well as the exclusive opportunity to practice yoga on Colony Square’s helipad (320 feet in the air!). In case of poor weather conditions, participating studios will offer complimentary class drop-ins depending on availability.
- To celebrate the return of Yoga on The Square, Colony Square will host a kickoff party on April 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Yogis will get a taste of all three studios during this exciting event which will feature a DJ, healthy eats and drinks, giveaways and more. Everyone in attendance of the kickoff celebration will receive a FREE branded athletic hat and a sweat towel.
- Jazz in the Sky at Colony Square, every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. starting May 1 through May 29 – Colony Square has partnered with the Atlanta Jazz Festival to host Jazz in the Sky, a weekly elevated musical experience atop the Colony Square helipad. EachTuesday during the month of May, various artists will perform for an intimate audience while overlooking the incredible Atlanta skyline. Guests are encouraged bring their own picnic-style setup, including blankets, food and beverages. The first 15 guests to RSVP via the Colony Square e-blast will enjoy this unique experience with a plus one. To sign up for the e-blast, click here.
In addition to the above Signature Events, Colony Square will continue to host Street Eats on the Square, a partnership with Atlanta Street Food Coalition that brings food trucks to The Plaza for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
