Your children can discover the wonder of science, thrill of ballet, and joy of opera at an ArtsBridge Field Trip!

ArtsBridge Field Trips are open to public, private schools and home-schoolers. Upcoming trips feature Dinosaur Zoo Live and Atlanta Ballet!

As you begin the New Year with a renewed focus on your family’s health and welfare, why not include activities to broaden your children and teens’ appreciation for learning and the arts? With unique upcoming arts education programs, ArtsBridge Field Trips range from science, social studies, history, dance, and music-based trips that are sure to engage, entertain and educate. Each hour-long performance is presented by nationally and internationally renowned performers and geared towards various grade levels from K-12. Trips are tied to curriculum, providing enriched learning experiences. The cost is $10 per student. Field Trips are presented by ArtsBridge at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339.

“Our Field Trips are open to public and private schools as well as home-schoolers,” states Natalie Barrow, Director of Arts Education and Community Outreach, ArtsBridge Foundation. “We know arts education helps students become more confident, learn to work collaboratively, and improve skills in a variety of subjects. Rock the Presidents - Tuesday, February 14 at 10:15 am and 12:00 pm

Childsplay takes audiences on a journey through the history of US Presidents told through original rock, pop, and folk music. This high octane, multi-media-filled musical revue looks at the lives of the first 44 people who have held the highest elected office in America. By revealing the humanity behind these larger-than-life individuals, Rock the Presidents creates a curiosity about our executive leaders and empowers young people with the belief that they too can get involved in civic life.

Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE - Wednesday, March 1 at 10:15 am and 12:00 pm

Get ready for the ultimate playdate – 65 million years in the making – as Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE guides students on a breathtaking tour that begins in pre-historic Australia. Brought to life by a team of skilled performers and puppeteers, and designed with the help of professional paleontologists, Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE’s puppets are so extraordinarily realistic you may feel the urge to run and hide – but don’t!

The Atlanta Opera presents “Don Pasquale” - Thursday, March 30 at 11:00 am

In this modern production set during the golden age of Hollywood, Don Pasquale is an aging silent film star at the sunset of his career. Our protagonist sets off to find a wife and heir to his fortune. He gets hitched to the cunning Norina, a widowed gold digger who conspires with Ernesto, the Don’s nephew. Supported by a chorus of servants dressed as 1950’s Hollywood film stars, Don Pasquale is a hilarious opera full of nostalgic glamor and lively humor.
