• $10M settlement ends decade-long case over Yale student's Milton death (fox5atlanta.com) — Milton has agreed to pay $10 million to the parents of Joshua Chang and name a nearby bridge in his honor, ending a long-running wrongful death case from a 2016 crash on Batesville Road. The settlement, partly covered by the city's risk insurer, closes years of appeals that drew statewide attention to how far cities like Milton can be held liable for roadside hazards.
